Probate of Decedent’s Estates & Administration of Trusts
Diment Law Office can assist clients in most aspects of administering estates or trusts, as follows:
Court Probate Proceedings: We represent clients in the administration of decedent’s estates in court probate proceedings, and also assist clients who are beneficiaries or creditors of estates.
Small Estate Proceedings: Under Oregon law, a small estate affidavit can be used instead of a regular probate proceeding if the value of the estate assets is within certain limits. We can advise you on whether a small estate affidavit is appropriate in your circumstances.
Nonjudicial Administration of Trusts: Most trusts are administered without court supervision. We represent clients who are trustees charged with administering trusts, including revocable living trusts. We can advise you on how to properly administer and close trusts. We can also assist clients who are trust beneficiaries.
Litigation involving Wills & Trusts: We represent clients in claims concerning challenges to the validity of wills or trusts, such as challenges based on undue influence or lack of capacity; and also in claims involving improper administration of estates or trusts.
