MORGAN D. DIMENT has been with the firm of Diment & Walker since August, 2004.
His areas of practice are:
Family Law: Dissolution of marriage, legal separation, complex asset divorce, contested custody cases, uncontested divorce, spousal support modification, custody modification, child support, prenuptial agreements, enforcement of parenting time and contempt matters.
Criminal Defense: Misdemeanors, felonies, motor vehicle violations, DUII and other driving-related offenses, assault, theft, burglaries, drug charges, fraud, expungement of criminal records and DMV hearings.
Other: Contested restraining order (FAPA) and stalking order hearings, elder abuse hearings, Construction Contractors Board matters.
Morgan graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in May, 2004. After passing the bar, Morgan joined Diment & Walker as an associate in August of 2004. He moved to Bend in the fall of 2005 and worked as an associate at the firm of Stahancyk, Kent & Hook, P.C., practicing exclusively family law. Morgan returned to Diment & Walker in April, 2007, and has been assisting clients with complex domestic relations and criminal defense cases ever since, becoming a partner at Diment & Walker in April, 2011. Morgan represents clients in Lane County as well as surrounding counties and municipalities.
Morgan was recognized in the magazine Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in Oregon in 2008, 2010 and 2011. He is a member of the Lane County Bar Association, the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Eugene Cascade Lions Club, and is on the Oregon Law Students’ Public Interest Fund Community Board. When he is not working, Morgan enjoys spending time with his family, skiing, hiking, fishing and the Oregon Coast.
