MORGAN D. DIMENT came to Diment Law Office in August of 2004. Morgan has over 15 years of experience, representing clients in all aspects of family law, including dissolutions of marriage, legal separation, complex-asset divorce, contested custody and parenting time cases, spousal support modifications, custody modifications, child support, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, enforcements of parenting time, and contempt matters. Morgan also provides mediation services for parties who wish to resolve their divorce, custody dispute, or other domestic relations matter in a cooperative manner. Morgan also assists clients with contested restraining orders, stalking orders, and elder abuse hearings. Morgan has extensive trial experience, but also takes a practical approach to settling cases when possible.
About Morgan
Morgan graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law in May, 2004. After passing the bar, Morgan joined Diment Law Office as an associate in August of 2004. Morgan initially focused his practice on family law and criminal defense. He moved to Bend in the Fall of 2005, and worked at the firm of Stahancyk, Kent & Hook, PC, practicing exclusively in family law. Morgan returned to Diment Law Office in 2007 and has been assisting clients in all types of family law and domestic relations cases ever since, becoming a partner in April, 2011. He has since focused his practice to the extent that he exclusively practices family law. This has allowed Morgan to dedicate his efforts to honing his craft and to create a team of attorneys with family law expertise. Morgan was honored in 2018 as a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) for excellence and professionalism in the practice of family law. Morgan is currently the only full-time attorney in Eugene, Oregon to have received this distinction.
